Vinkair tubes and fittings were specially designed for the construction of compressed air pipes.

Specific Material Description

Colour:
Vinkair is integrally coloured in light blue NF A 571 (standard colour for compressed air).

Corrosion:
Vinkair is perfectly corrosion-resistant and guarantees the preservation of air quality (no pollution caused by detached rust particles such as with metal pipes). The cross-section of the pipe does not reduce due to dirt or corrosion deposits. This results in the better efficiency of your installation.

Impact resistance:
The Vinkair system has excellent impact resistance, even at temperatures down to -20°C. In the event of breakage, the pipes do not under any circumstances split apart, so that there is no risk of flying parts.

Resistance to compressor oils and condensate:
The base material for the Vinkair system, a PVC-based copolymer, perfectly resists the usual compressor oils and any condensate that may arise in the pipes.

UV resistance:
UV radiation has a long-term adverse effect on the mechanical properties of Vinkair. We therefore recommend shielding the material from bright solar radiation.

Fire resistance:
Vinkair is self-extinguishing. In case of fire, VINKAIR will not maintain or spread the fire.

Installation:
The light weight, flexibility and the simple connection system (gluing) make the installation simple and cheap. The glue system also guarantees permanent and complete sealing. This saves you a lot of costs.
