3M™ VHB™ Tape 4945 features a grey, multipurpose and deformable acrylic foam core (thickness: 1,6mm) which offers a perfect balance between strength and deformability under difficult circumstances, in particular on surfaces with high to medium surface energy.

The 3M™ VHB™ Tape serves as an alternative for mechanical fasteners (rivets, welds, screws) or liquid adhesives; it eliminates the need for drilling, grinding, refinishing, screwing, welding and associated clean-up. The material creates a permanent seal against water, moisture and more, llows the use of thinner, lighter weight. Thanks to the visco-elasticity this tape offers a wide range of design possibilities on several surfaces.
